Cooking and tasting event with the Community Chef

A huge thankyou to everyone who attended our fantastic Stepping Stones Bereavement Wellbeing event yesterday. We had such a special day together, cooking (and eating!) fresh and delicious food with the amazing Robin Van Creveld (Aka The Community Chef https://communitychef.org.uk/

), using creative activities to reflect on our grief journeys (brilliantly facilitated by Jo Reeve), with delicious food and service from the lovely staff at The Whitworth Centre, Darley Dale. Right down to the brilliant service from our Nottingham Taxi service Ali Baba Taxis. Thankyou to Dave MacGregor for being the Derby/ Belper transporter! Thankyou to everyone for fab contributions to our raffle including a generous voucher from Leigh Day solicitors. Thankyou to all of the DAST team who encouraged, supported and helped create a brilliant day. Finally much appreciation to the National Lottery Community Fund for funding this and other areas of our Bereavement programme. As one participant said, "What was the best thing about the day? It's impossible to pinpoint one particular thing, so I will say Everything!"
